Does the quality of the sugar dragées deteriorate if not consumed immediately?

The sugar dragees have a minimum shelf life (consumption by) from 12 to 24 months. During this period, the sugar dragees maintain their sensory characteristics perfectly, provided that the correct storage conditions are met. After the expiration date, the sugar dragees can still be consumed, however, there will be a gradual deterioration of their quality characteristics. The duration of the gradual degradation of quality depends on the handling and storage conditions of the sugar dragees throughout their shelf life.
